Getting around

Getting around Montenegro

The easiest way to get around is a rental car, but buses, the train and a summer ferry work too. And if you’d rather not drive, our driver takes you on day trips and airport runs.

  • Train Bar–Podgorica

Montenegro’s passenger line runs from Bar to Podgorica and on towards Belgrade — one of Europe’s most scenic stretches of railway. The station is in Bar, about 15 minutes from the villa.

  • Ferry Dubrovnik–Budva

In summer you can also arrive from Dubrovnik by sea — handy if you fly into Dubrovnik or want a day trip to Croatia.
